Our story

GLOW is us.
Soon, it'll be you.

GLOW was born in 2023 around a simple observation: women cyclists in the Chamonix valley were looking for a place to learn, progress and ride together. A place that's welcoming, demanding and joyful. So we created it.

Our values

Four principles that guide every ride.

01

Kindness

No question is dumb. We meet every rider where she is.

02

Rigour

Kindness isn't softness. We push you to progress.

03

Sisterhood

We celebrate other women's wins as much as our own.

04

Adventure

Every ride is a small exploration. We step out of the comfort zone.

The co-founders

Two friends, two instructors, one shared drive.

We figured the best way to introduce ourselves was to pass the hot potato — each co-founder writes the other's portrait.

The rock you can lean on.

Portrait by Camille

If GLOW exists today, it's thanks to her. Lucile is the woman who rides with disconcerting ease, explains a technical section in three words and makes you progress without you even noticing.

She's the one who's there to pass it on — with Les Houches BikeCrew, where she's been involved for years, and with the Club des Sports de Chamonix, where she set up the balance-bike club for the youngest riders.

We've been flatmates, teammates and training partners. Lucile stays calm when everything unravels. If I wanted to be a mum before meeting her, she's the one who showed me you can have it all — without giving up on your dreams.

She has as much class on a bike as on skis, does plenty of terrifying things (hello, motorbike), and knows every Booba, Joy Division, Nick Cave and J Dilla track. No musical missteps.

Pure energy, endless curiosity.

Portrait by Lucile · camillepic.com

Camille is pure energy, a curiosity machine and a walking encyclopedia on nearly everything. Before trading heels for cleats, she had a career in marketing and communication for fashion and luxury cosmetics brands. Today she puts that sharp eye and storytelling gift at the service of cycling and women's riding.

A Liv Cycling France ambassador, Camille isn't afraid of a challenge: she's raced ultra-distance events, because riding hundreds of kilometres without sleep is her idea of fun. Her steel mindset and unshakeable positivity make her an inspiring rider who can motivate anyone to push their limits.

Deeply committed to social justice and equality, Camille doesn't just talk cycling: she campaigns for everyone to have their place — on a bike and elsewhere. Her involvement in GLOW goes beyond riding; she wants this sport to be more accessible and inclusive.

Camille is also mum to Nova, a little girl who'll no doubt do great things on a bike (or anywhere else). And her daily life includes Sushi, her tiny dog who barks louder than her shadow.

In short, Camille is the friend who talks you into riding in the rain, teaches you unlikely facts about cycling (and the rest), and who you always want to chat with after a good ride.

The team

Coaches who ride with you, not ahead of you.

Our coaches are MCF- and BPJEPS-certified or former racers. They all have one thing in common: they started somewhere and remember what it feels like. They adapt the language, the pace, the difficulty — never the ambition.
